Founder · Head Artist & Tutor (MFA)

DR. T. Abu Bakkar Siddique (MFA) is the Head Artist and Tutor at Art N Smart Academy, Sholinganallur, with over 20 years of experience in fine arts. Passionate about teaching children and young artists, he is dedicated to bringing out the inner artist in every student while helping them develop their artistic skills, creativity, and self-confidence. His thoughtful and personalized approach to teaching ensures that each student's unique talent is recognized, encouraged, and nurtured. A five-time Best Teacher Award recipient, DR. T. Abu Bakkar Siddique is recognized for his dedication to art education and his commitment to every student's artistic development. He has also been invited to various programs and art events as a Chief Guest and Competition Judge, contributing his experience and expertise to encourage and inspire emerging artists.

Mrs. A. Shaffiya Banu

Director & Trainer (M.Com, B.Ed, Montessori Certified)

Mrs. A. Shaffiya Banu is an esteemed education professional with an M.Com, B.Ed, and Montessori Kindergarten certification. With over 15 years of dedicated experience in the field of education, she serves as the Director of Art N Smart Academy – The School of Arts. Driven by a deep passion for art and crafts, Mrs. Shaffiya Banu, along with her husband, DR. T. Abu Bakkar Siddique, founded Art N Smart Academy with the vision of nurturing creativity and artistic expression in children. She is deeply committed to encouraging young talent and fostering children's artistic growth. Her passion and contributions to the field have led her to serve as a Chief Guest at various drawing and art competitions. She also actively organizes and leads numerous art-related events and initiatives, creating opportunities for children to explore, learn, and showcase their creativity.

In the contemporary world, art serves as a medium for expressing ideas and creative prowess through visual forms such as painting and drawing. It acts as a catalyst for nurturing a child's imagination, creativity, patience, and discipline. At "Art N Smart Academy – The School of Arts," we believe that every child possesses innate artistic abilities.

Through structured learning, students are introduced to the fundamental aspects of art and gradually progress through techniques like oil pastels, pencil shading, watercolours, and acrylic painting. Our focus lies in providing a platform where students can experience the joy of creativity while strengthening their understanding of art elements like line, shape, space, value, form, texture, and colour. We aim to offer a solid foundation and intermediate expertise to enrich the learning journey of our students.
